Retrofits

Older existing pool pump motors will eventually lock and need to be replaced.  If the original motor was wired at 120 volts, our first objective will be to convert the circuit to 240 volts.  However there may be certain complicating factors associated with this, such as; - Deteriorated supply cable.

Pools: In Ground

Lets Talk about Saving Energy!

Certain electrical apparatus such as motors & heaters can operate on different voltages.  All homes can supply a voltage of a low 120 volts or a high of 240 volts.

Crash Course: Plain and Simple

The higher the voltage supply, the lower the draw (electrical consumption), the lower the voltage supply the higher the draw. i.e. pump motor for an in ground pool operating on 240 volts draws approximately 6-7 Amps and a motor for an above ground pool operating at 120 volts can draw to a near 15 Amps.
